This year’s theme, “Educate. Advocate. Sustain.”, highlights the many ways psychologists advance academic health centers through innovation, leadership, research, education, advocacy, and clinical care.

Conference Theme:

EDUCATE - educational innovations across disciplines

ADVOCATE - Advocacy for patients, communities, and the future of psychology

SUSTAIN - Sustaining and expanding psychology within, across, and beyond academic health centers

Our theme stems from the nuances of our current academic medicine and higher education climates and seeks to invigorate our work which  represents the many ways psychologists can contribute to academic medicine – including and beyond clinical care. 

Authors may request consideration for:

Oral presentation only

Poster presentation only

Either oral or poster presentation

Submission Requirements:

Abstracts must be 300 words or less

Oral presentations proposals must also include:

Three measurable learning objectives - please reference the APA Guidance for Writing Behavioral Learning Objectives at http://www.apa.org/ed/sponsor/resources/objectives.pdf

Three scholarly references

At least one presenter (preferably including the first author) listed for an accepted presentation must register for and attend the conference

Important Dates:

Online submission portal opens: August 1, 2026

Submission deadline: October 16, 2026 at 11:59PM EST

Acceptance notifications expected by: January 2, 2027
